Call for Art - The Star Show
Northern Prairie Arts ~ Watertown’s Arts Council is excited to announce The Star Show, a creative challenge where both artists and authors are invited to explore and express their unique interpretation of the theme "Star." Whether through visual art or written word, this is your opportunity to showcase how you envision a star—be it literal, symbolic, or imaginative. A People’s Choice Award will be awarded!

Join the fun on January 9th, to meet writer-poet Brit Graham. Brit picks up inspiration rather like a crow, searching for anything bright, sharp, and potentially dangerous (or useful). She finds Kim Addonizio, fast cars, and the gritty, wild world especially enticing fodder for poetry. She writes to unearth the ethereal in the mundane, pilfer experience, and bridge the gap between one person and another with the goal of shifting her audience’s viewpoint, encouraging them to question their default perspective—if only for a moment.
